Thorndale’s residential services enable people with a disability to live in a positive environment with professional support in our safe and comfortable homes.

We provide advocacy support to enable residents to realise their individual capacities, aspirations and be active participants in all aspects of life.

We can also assist with short term accommodation and respite.

Thorndale currently offers a range of purpose built group homes in the community.

We believe that people with disability have the right to a standard of living which is reflective of the general community. Thorndale currently offers a range of purpose built group homes in the community.

Each home accommodates 3-5 residents offering 24 hour, 7 days a week support as required.

At Thorndale, we have a number of options to help you with adult Short Term Accommodation and Respite.

We have a number of homes to cater for (SIL) Supported independent living, located across greater western Sydney, where our services are provided by our friendly, supportive and qualified staff.

Short term accommodation provides a break from home and offers the opportunity to meet new friends and get involved with a number of activities. It’s also a great way to learn some new skills and test the waters towards full independence.

We understand everyone’s needs are different and we have the experience and caring to work with you, to plan your stay.

You are welcome to stay with us, overnight, for the weekend or even longer.

Short Term Accommodation is funded from your NDIS Plan under Core Supports, Assistance with Daily Life.
